Dodge TXT vs HXT: the input architecture is the key difference
HXT is not simply a TXT reducer with a different label. Dodge describes HXT as a hydraulic-motor variation of the TXT concept, using a splined female input and motor adapter in place of the TXT projecting input shaft.

Hydraulic motor shaftVerify the exact spline. Dodge specifically says HXT reducers are not designed for hydraulic motors with a solid keyed shaft.
