Genie 1128 vs 2128 board parts: preserve the B battery suffix
The Genie Company groups its Connected Pro Series models 1128, 1128B, 2128, and 2128B in one exact replacement-parts diagram, but assigns each a different circuit board: 40976R.S (1128), 40976T.S (1128B), 40976S.S (2128), and 40976U.S (2128B). Genie’s own product pages identify 1128/2128 without B and 1128B/2128B with backup. The diagram also lists 111658.0002.S as a battery-only replacement for the grouped family; because the diagram includes non-B models too, use that listing only when the exact opener has the B backup configuration and confirm by its exact model label or with Genie service.
