Dodge documents that legacy SCXT sizes 3, 4 and 5/5A were redesigned as SCXT 3B, 4B and 5C. The current reducers use an extended output hub and are not compatible with the older drive shafts; replacing an older reducer therefore requires the correct current drive-shaft arrangement rather than treating the reducer as a drop-in swap.
